The Brighten Group, formally known as the Auxiliary, is a non-profit organization within the Saint John Regional Hospital. Since our inception in 1919, the Brighten Group has provided patient comfort services that enhance the hospital experience for patients, families and visitors. Our mission has never wavered, and we continue to provide Patient Comfort to this day.
Our Mission: To enhance the hospital experience for Patients, Families and Staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital by fulfilling un-met needs for emotional support, physical comfort and medical care.

Values: We value collaboration, caring and courage while honouring our history.
Whether you visit us online or at our Gift Shop at the Regional Hospital, all profits are redirected back to the hospital to support our many Patient Comfort programs.
